Top 10 moisturizers with spf for oily skin
Finding the best moisturizer for your skin is one of the hardest jobs ever because these days there are so many criteria to consider and so many choices that it’s no wonder people are confused.
In my opinion there are three basic requirements that a good moisturizer for oily skin should fulfill: SPF, anti-aging properties (if you are over 25) and no bad alcohol (read my article about good and bad alcohol in skincare). However I think people need the road narrowed down to top or best products just to have a starting point, at least. This is my top 10 best moisturizers with SPF for oily skinners and I hope you find it useful.
1) Purpose Dual Treatment Moisture Lotion (SPF 15)– 5 $
A cheap moisturizer that you can buy from your friendly neighbourhood drugstore designed for sensitive skin. Its non-greasy texture makes it good for oily skin too. Purpose Dual Treatment Moisture Lotion is a safe option for those who are prone to irritation (formulated without oil and fragrance).

2) St. Ives Elements Mineral Moisturizer (SPF 15) – 5.85 $
Launched in 2009 to complement St Ives Elements Line the mineral moisturizer has grown a lot of fans. It comes in a very hygienic pump bottle and it has a very simple professional design. It has a mass availability, it can be found in drugstore, retailers and online.

3) Eucerin Everyday Protection Sensitive Skin Face Lotion SPF 30-$8.75
Allure thinks highly of Eucerin Everyday Protection Sensitive Skin Face Lotion highlighting the fact that it is lightweight, non-greasy, silky, non-clogging and it does not contain fragrance.

4) Simple Oil Balancing Moisturizer- 10 $
I’m not normally a fan of Unilever’s skincare brands but some of them do work well for their price. Simple is very accessible and the Oil Balancing Moisturizer is petty known for its simple and non-irritating ingredients (I mean compared with others this looks like a safe product to use on your face). It contains Zinc PCA and Chamomile Extract (they absorb excess oils) in the top of the list ingredients and has a light texture perfect for oily skin.

5) Aslavital anti-wrinkle mineralizing cream spf 15 – 19 $
Although not so well known internationally AslaVital is a renowned Romanian brand owned by the very popular Company in Romania, Farmec . Most probably you’ve heard of its sister brand Gerovital, the brand contains 100% natural clay, Goji berries extract originally degined for sensitive skin.
The brand has a lot of research and development behind as its creator was world-recognized researcher Ana Aslan who’s unique anti-aging formula is well known and awarded on the international market. This cream is perfect especially for oily skinners who are looking for a good night moisturizer or very dehydrated oily skin. It is easily absorbed and doesn’t leave any residues behind.

6) Aveeno- Daily Moisturizer with SPF 15- 16.99 $
Although I generally don’t like the products that are advertising a particular ingredient that later on you realize it doesn’t have a high concentration (in this case the soy complex) but Aveeno Daily Moisturizer seems to be loved by many users. A detailed analysis of the ingredients of theproduct can be found at ConsumerSearch.

7) C.O. Bigelow All-in-One Protective Day Lotion SPF 25- 19.50 $
Another product designed for oily skin managed to get into our spotlight, it seems that 2012 is the year of C.O. Bigelow All-in-One Protective Day Lotion, a product that has become very popular on beauty blogs. The product has a hell of an ingredient list with a lot of “natural” extracts and, if you’re an animal lover, you’ll be glad to hear that the company doesn’t test on animals.

8) Elta MD Skincare UV Clear Broad Spectrum SPF 46 – 21.34 $
The winner of the best daytime moisturizer with spf for oily skin on Instyle.com is also one of dr bailey’s favourite product. She loves the combination of zinc oxide and octinoxate as a sunscreen that does its job without leaving any oily film behind, like a lot of suncreens do. This product is formulated without parabens or fragrance and it is well suited for sensitive skin.

9) Lightweight Sephora Flawless Moisturizing Lotion SPF 15 – 22 $
When a product is featured on Oprah’s site you know for sure it’s going for the highway to fame and this is the case of Sephora’s Moisturizing Lotion. This is a super watery lotion and although they are a bit stingy with its anti-oxidant content it has light-reflecting compounds that illuminate the skin giving you that flawless dramatic look during daytime.

10) Boscia Oil-Free Daily Hydration SPF 15- 27$
You can find Boscia Oil-Free Daily Hydration moisturizer in my other top 10 moisturizers for oily skin as I think this is a decent product with a little too much marketing-for-ignorants behind. I just happened to see the phrase “This formula is 100% preservative free” acompagning its product description and I though it’s a shame that such a big name has visible communication issues (parabens is not a synonym for preservatives and just because the product is formulated without parabens this doesn’t mean it doesn’t have preservatives, otherwise the product would just flow in bacteria). But other than that this is a good choice for oily skinners who need oil control, moisturization and UV protection with a gentle touch.
